The range
No roller-blind-only shortcuts. From the nursery to the braai patio, we carry the full range so each opening gets the right product the first time — not a compromise fitted twice.

Shading, not security. Our roller shutters are made for sun, heat and glare control on the outside of the glass. They are not security-rated shutters — that is a different product, which we can quote on request.
Ask about thisRetractable patio shade with a wind sensor as standard — highveld storms don't wait.
ExploreWind-proof mesh in zipped side channels — closes an outdoor room without walls.
Ask about this
New-build floor plans open the kitchen, dining and living areas onto the garden and patio — which means the same three or four windows carry all of the sun, the privacy, and the entertaining. We spec each room on its own terms, not a single blanket product for the whole house.

Before you spend a cent, read what the Highveld sun actually does to a new-build estate home here — elevation by elevation, with the real angles, the November hail season, and which blind we'd fit on each wall (and honestly, what each choice costs you in return). It's the homework we'd normally only do at your house, written down and given away.
Inside the guide
Genuinely useful first. The booking is only ever an option, never the price of reading.
Why Raslouw is different
Raslouw sits on Centurion's western growth edge, where a belt of old smallholdings has been steadily rezoned and rebuilt into secure new estates and boomed-gate complexes. Almost every home here is either brand new or mid-renovation, which means windows are usually standard-height, floor-to-ceiling, or the oddly proportioned architectural openings that off-the-shelf blinds simply don't fit.
Highveld summers push long, harsh afternoon sun straight into the open-plan living areas new floor plans are built around — usually facing the garden or braai side. That same season brings sudden highveld thunderstorms with real gusts, which is why any exterior product we fit here — awnings, external venetians, zip screens — goes out with a wind sensor as standard, not as an optional extra.
Several of Raslouw's complexes and estates carry architectural or aesthetic guidelines covering exterior colours and profiles. We work in finishes that sit comfortably within those rules and can supply the specification sheet your body corporate or HOA asks for.
Every Raslouw stand starts the same way — pegged, then built. We plan your shading the same way: room by room, before a single blind is cut.
How it works
No showroom trek, no guessing sizes — the consultation happens where the windows are.
Two minutes on the enquiry form — rooms, rough sizes, what's bothering you about the light.
A consultant comes to your Raslouw home, measures every opening precisely and brings samples to view in your own light.
Itemised and honest, with no vague package pricing and no pressure to decide on the spot.
Manufactured to your exact openings and installed by our own team, with a working demonstration before we leave.
Where we work
Questions
We specify clean profiles and estate-appropriate colours, and can supply the product documentation most bodies corporate and HOAs ask owners to submit. Well-specified exterior shading is approved routinely in Raslouw's complexes and estates.
We can measure as soon as your walls are plastered and glazing is in — often before transfer. Made-to-measure production and fitting is then scheduled around your move-in date, not the other way round.
On a reachable standard window, it's a comfort upgrade. On wide sliders, stairwell voids and multi-blind walls of new-build glass, it's the difference between blinds you use daily and blinds you don't. Wind-sensored awnings are genuine storm protection, not a luxury.
Most new architectural builds aren't. Skylights, gables, oversized sliders and floor-to-ceiling glass are exactly what made-to-measure means — every blind is cut and built to your actual opening, not a shelf size.
Nothing. The measure, the samples, the consultation and the written per-window quote are all free, with no obligation to proceed.
Chain tensioners are fitted as standard on every corded blind, and we'll steer nurseries and kids' rooms toward cordless, wand or motorised control with nothing dangling to reach.
